South Carolina Caravan Patch
Caravan Patch- South Carolina now has a Caravan Patch. Simply caravan to a state Samboree in a group of three or more, fill out the form which can be downloaded below, have it signed by your Chapter Wagonmaster, and bring it to the Good Sam Store during the rally to purchase the patch. Future caravans to South Carolina Samborees will allow you to qualify for a State Tree patch to go around the original patch.

2009 South Carolina Fall Samboree
The 2009 South Carolina Fall Samboree will be held at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach October 2 - 4 2009 with early bird arrivals as early as September 27th. This year there will be a plantation boat tour of Georgetown, SC on Wednesday September 30th. This will be an all day tour with lunch included in the price. Those planning on taking the tour must arrive by Tuesday evening September 29th. The Samboree includes activities, craft sale, Good Sam store, and two nights' entertainment (Friday and Saturday). Breakfast Friday and Saturday plus dinner Thursday and Friday evenings are included in the price. Check out the Samboree photos to see some of the activities and events. Mini Rallies
There will be no state Samboree in the spring of 2009. Instead, members are encouraged to form and attend regional mini rallies. Also, The Rally is being held in Albuquerque, NM in April 2009. This is co-sponsored by Good Sam. It is an opportunity for those living in the south to attend this rally.
2009 Upstate Mini Rally
The upstate region 2009 mini rally was held at Palmetto Cove Campground May 13 - 16, leaving on May 17th. 83 rigs were registered this year. Check back for information on the 2010 Upstate Mini Rally. For information on Palmetto Cove including a map click here
2009 Coastal Mini Rally
The Coastal region will hold its fall mini rally November 6th to 8th at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in Tabor City, NC. Everyone is encouraged to participate in a pot luck supper Friday evening. A hot dog lunch will be provided Saturday. Saturday evening a spaghetti dinner will be provided by the Grand Strand Sams. There are several local restaurants if you wish to eat on your own. The campground's snack bar will be open for breakfast on your own. Each person must register with the campground at least 30 days prior to the rally. The campground may be contacted at (910) 653-2155 or (877) 668-8586, ask for Diane and be sure to mention the SC Coastal Rally. A deposit will be required.
