South Carolina Caravan Patch
Caravan Patch- South Carolina now has a Caravan Patch. Simply caravan to a state Samboree in a group of three or more, fill out the form which can be downloaded below, have it signed by your Chapter Wagonmaster, and bring it to the Good Sam Store during the rally to purchase the patch. Future caravans to South Carolina Samborees will allow you to qualify for a State Flower patch to go around the original patch.

2008 South Carolina Fall Samboree
The 2008 South Carolina Fall Samboree will be held at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach, SC October 3rd to 5th with early bird arrival on October 2nd and early-early bird arrival September 28th. The Theme for this year's Samboree will be Christmas at the Beach so come prepared to celebrate. Registration includes campground fees, breakfast Friday and Saturday, and evening meals Thursday and Friday. Golf carts will be available at a reduced rate for the rally. An optional dinner and show package at the Dixie Stampede is available. For a registration form click here. Note: We must have the application by September 19th to ensure express check-in. If the person will not be at home after September 26th, please let us know. It will take 3-5 days for Ocean Lakes to return the express check in packages.

Mini Rallies
There will be no state Samboree in the spring of 2008. Instead, members are encouraged to form and attend regional mini rallies. Also, The Rally is being held in Albuquerque, NM in April 2009. This is co-sponsored by Good Sam. It is an opportunity for those living in the southeast to attend this rally.
2008 Upstate Mini Rally
The upstate region 2008 mini rally was a success with approximately 60 rigs in attendance. Plan now for the 2009 Upstate Rally May 15 to 17 2009. Check back later for more information. For information on Palmetto Cove including a map click here
2008 Coastal Mini Rally
The Coastal region will hold its fall mini rally November 7th to 9th at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in Tabor City, NC. Everyone is encouraged to participate in a pot luck supper Friday evening. A lunch will be provided Saturday. The clubhouse will be available Saturday evening for chapters and individuals to get together for a meal or you can eat on your own. There are several local restaurants. Each person must register with the campground at least 30 days prior to the rally. The campground may be contacted at (910) 653-2155 or (877) 668-8586, ask for Diane and be sure to mention the SC Coastal Rally. A deposit of $46.35 will be required. Note: Pulling a second trailer such as for a golf car behind a trailer or fifth wheel is not allowed in South Carolina and can result in a fine. Please see the Trailer Life Directory for a list of states that allow towing two trailers.
